Hi, my name is Stephen, I am a qualified canine behaviourist, dog trainer and dog walker. Here I am with my 4 year old Springer Spaniel, Barney.
My journey in dog training began through my love of dogs, the joy they bring into our lives and understanding how each dog has it's very own unique way of learning.
Through my training, I help you understand your dogs needs by teaching you about your own dogs unique psychology and effective ways to communicate with them in a way that they understand as canines.

together in my consultation, we create a rock solid foundation

I believe that it’s time for a new way of thinking about how we work with our dogs. The time has come for a change to a connection based approach that your dog really understands and thrives under, empowering you to fully understand their canine language and coming into a new partnership with your canine companion.
Traditional training tends to focus only on SYMPTOMS, however this can be a slow approach and can often result over time, that the same or even different issues return, leading to weeks or months more training.
With my method of training, I teach you how to understand why your dogs unwanted behaviour is causing you problems, how they individually learn and the psychology of these UNDERLYING ISSUES.
During the first consultation I look at your dogs unique personality and explain why there are issues that have arisen.
Once you have a full understanding of why your dog is displaying unwanted behaviours, we put steps in place, enabling you to clearly communicate with your dog, in a way they understand as canines.
The training methods clearly communicate to the dog that undesirable behaviour is no longer necessary. Your dog will be calmer and stop the unwanted behaviours and start making the right decisions through loving guidance and direction.
